Off the C.U.F.F

Off the C.U.F.F. (Clear, Undisturbed, Firm, and Funny) is a parents skills group for management of disordered eating. It contains practical strategies to help parents to deal with a child's problematic eating behaviours.

The group outlines the skills-based curriculum taught to parents at one of the world's most highly regarded eating disorder treatment programs, the Eating Disorders Program at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. The program has four main goals: helping parents to manage disordered eating and weight concerns in their child, to encourage their child to use healthy coping strategies, to support parents' own health and well-being and to create a family environment that promotes psychological and physical health.

The group offers:

  • Effective parenting styles
